Prayer

Every Sunday morning, individuals in our church meet at 8:45am to pray for our service, our church, each other, and our community. This time is open to anyone to come and pray before church begins.

Our pastoral staff also spends each day in one hour of prayer and devotions before they arrive to the office. We value the power of prayer because we know it is one way to keep ourselves connected to God and the only way we will be able to stay focused on the vision God has provided for us to follow.

prayerEvery Sunday morning there is an opportunity to fill out a prayer/praise sheet before the service to alert the congregation of specific God-moments in your life or needs you or a loved one needs God’s intervention for. Then, before the sermon, our pastor will read through the prayer requests and praises, followed by a prayer for each item that morning. These special notes are then added to our continual prayer list that several people in our church pray over during the course of the week.

We also have a prayer chain made up of individuals who pray on a regular basis. If you would like to submit a prayer request for our prayer chain or Sunday morning, you may fill out our Prayer Request Form and we will be sure to pray about it.

Tragedy of Prayer skit

This skit the struggle with praying out loud that many of us have. Ironically, the worship team members' personalities fit the skit characters to perfection. It was a skit we downloaded and used verbatim for Sunday morning. It's very powerful. Still very relevant.
