Serve

More and more, our church has begun to reach out to those in need. Finding several within our Body with gifts of service and talents for fixing and building things, we've been doing lots more in the areas of service and missions. From mowing the church lawn, to working on repair projects at people's houses, to work days at other churches, helping out at the Brethren Retreat Center, as well as relief work for Hurricane Katrina victims in Gulfport, MS, and service projects at Riverside Christian School in Kentucky, we're using our gifts and talents to worship the Lord in hands-on sorts of ways-and we're having lots of fun doing it!

"Don't just listen to the Word.... Do what it says!" (James 1:22).

"Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us" (Romans 12:4-6).
